Signal:View is a trading name of We Are Star Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with the Signal:View platform, in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who We Are
The data controller for account-level data (such as your name, email address, and billing information) is:
Where you upload candidate data to the Platform, you (the account holder) act as the data controller for that candidate data. We Are Star Digital Ltd acts as your data processor and processes candidate data only on your instructions and as necessary to deliver the service.
2. What Data We Collect
2.1 Account Data (Controller)
When you create an account, we collect:

- :Organisation name
- :Billing information (processed by our payment provider)
- :Usage data and activity logs
2.2 Candidate Data (Processor)
When you upload candidates to the Platform, you may provide:
- :Name, contact details, and CV or profile information
- :LinkedIn profile data (where connected)
- :Video introductions recorded by the candidate
- :Notes, feedback, and hiring decisions
We process this data solely to deliver the Signal:View service and do not use candidate data for any other purpose, including marketing, profiling, or analytics beyond what is necessary to operate the Platform.
3. Lawful Basis for Processing
You, as the account holder uploading candidate data, are responsible for identifying and documenting your own lawful basis for processing that candidate data under UK GDPR.
4. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations.
Candidate data is retained for as long as you maintain it on the Platform. When a role is deleted or your account is closed, candidate data is scheduled for deletion within [30] days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Security Measures
We take the security of personal data seriously. Our measures include:
