Signal:View is a trading name of We Are Star Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By using Signal:View, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Signal:View platform (the "Platform"), operated by We Are Star Digital Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in England and Wales.
By creating an account or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including recruiters, internal hiring teams, and candidates.
2. Use of the Platform
Signal:View is a B2B SaaS platform designed to facilitate the secure sharing and review of candidate profiles between recruiters, internal hiring teams, and authorised stakeholders.
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and operating in a professional capacity to create an account. By registering, you represent that you are authorised to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
2.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account.
2.3 Permitted Use
The Platform may only be used for lawful recruitment and hiring purposes. You must not use the Platform to process candidate data for any purpose other than that for which it was provided.
3. Data Protection & UK GDPR
Signal:View is designed with UK GDPR compliance as a core requirement. You acknowledge that:
- :Where you upload candidate data to the Platform, you act as the data controller for that data.
- :We Are Star Digital Ltd acts as a data processor in respect of candidate data you upload.
- :You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process candidate personal data.
- :You must not upload candidate data without appropriate consent or another lawful basis under UK GDPR.
- :You are responsible for informing candidates about how their data will be processed.

4. Acceptable Use & Data Handling
You agree that you will not, and will not permit others to:
- :Attempt to download, save, screenshot, or extract candidate CV or profile data from the Platform in bulk or in a manner inconsistent with its intended use.
- :Redistribute candidate data shared via Signal:View to third parties not authorised under the relevant role.
- :Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Platform.
- :Use automated tools to access the Platform without our prior written consent.
- :Use the Platform to send unsolicited communications to candidates.
- :Upload data that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
- :Circumvent any access controls, security measures, or data governance features of the Platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform where we reasonably believe these provisions have been breached.
5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including its software, design, copy, and underlying technology, are owned by or licensed to We Are Star Digital Ltd.
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Platform, including candidate data. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- :We exclude all implied warranties, conditions, and representations in relation to the Platform.
- :We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss arising from your use of the Platform.
- :Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the relevant claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Termination
Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice. Annual plans are non-cancellable during the subscription term.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you materially breach these Terms, including but not limited to breaches of Section 4 (Acceptable Use).
Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease. Data retention following termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email or via the Platform with at least 14 days notice. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
